towering studio-made silver and pink quartz Ring
I do not usually describe the jewelry I offer as one-of-a-kind but with this ring, I believe I am justified in doing so. Unsigned yet obviously a studio-made piece, its hefty, minimalist silver-work is topped by a towering , hand-cut and polished chunk of quartz. I am not much of a … pink girl but this stone, with its light, semi-translucent color and rich inclusions looks like Italian ice to me. Perfect for the summer not to mention irresistible…
Size / Weight: sz 6.75 US (resizable by your jeweler); face is just shy of 15/16” wide; 7/8” rise; 27.1 grams
Hallmarks / Date: not signed for maker nor hallmarked for metal content yet tested and guaranteed to be sterling silver; difficult to date with accuracy but I would suggest 1970s or later
Condition: excellent vintage with a yummy, chunky stone, smashing presence and no damage or repairs noted
