rare Mexican Deco silver and turquoise scepter Brooch
A rare design - in all my years of dealing in vintage Mexican silver jewelry I have never encountered another example - this generously sized Deco brooch is fun and most probably a conversation piece! I have had it for a while but I decided that the festive atmosphere in the weeks leading up to the holidays is the perfect time to present it. Whether you see it as a sparkling royal scepter or a glorified marching band baton, it conjures up bright, merry images of celebration and luxury. Don't miss it...
Size / Weight: 3 3/4" long by 3/4" wide; the turquoise dangles have a drop of 1 1/8"; 11.2 grams
Hallmarks / Date: "STERLING MEXICO"; 1920s-40s
