Flli Coppini 800 silver Renaissance Revival Cross Pendant

$0.00
SOLD

In my last treasure-hunting adventure I ended up with a couple of really really nice cross pendants and necklaces. The first one to gain center stage is this two-sided Flli Coppini Italian silver example. Executed in the .800 alloy that was the Italian standard until 1934, the pendant is crisply cast and its profusion of detail and ornamentation is easily readable to the eye. A generously-sized piece, it is shown in one of the photos here with a Peruzzi / Coppini style silver chain so you can get an idea what it looks like as a pendant necklace (the chain is not included but if you need one, please let me know)…

Size / Weight: 3 1/2” tall (without the slimmer bail; with that bail, it adds a 3 3/4” drop to your chain) by 2 9/16” wide; 40.3 grams

Hallmarks / Date: “Flli COPPINI” and “800”; 1920s-40s

Condition: excellent vintage with bold presence, rich ornamentation and good casting, great patina and no damage or repairs noted
